The most important rules of the solidarity-based insurance subscription
Each insurer takes out a monthly subscription and is added to a public list of names with their start date. The subscription can be cancelled at any time.
1. Introduction & Name List
A one-time registration fee of €3 is payable upon subscription. In return, all subsequent services are provided monthly, as in the subscription model. This is intended to reduce administrative costs associated with new subscribers and those canceling their subscriptions.
2. Registration fee
The first person to join is at the top of the list. Once that person has recruited 400 new members, they receive a payout, funded by everyone who has also subscribed.
3. Order & Payout
After a payout, that person is moved to the end of the list and starts again – like a returning member – and everyone else moves up one place. Upon leaving, remaining policyholders also move up one place for payouts.
4. Exit & New Beginning
In addition to the revenue, the operator receives a monthly margin of between 1% and a maximum of 15% to cover the website and personnel costs.
5. Operator margin
The prize is always calculated based on the current number of participants and their ranking in the list, according to their entry date. After each prize win, the entry date is reset, provided payments continue. The operator's margin is deducted from the prize; this can be viewed in the participant list.
